What about radon?  Radon gas in homes is a big concern as it’s been shown to cause a variety of health problems, with few ways to adequately remove and control. Since radon gas is 7.5 times heavier than air, it tends to hang lower to the ground. This makes radon gas a real problem for babies and pets that spend a lot of time on the floor. One of the ways you can remove radon gas is to use a quality activated carbon air purifier, such as the powerful, compact and portable AirMedic Pro 5 Ultra fume extractor. AllerAir’s unique bottom intake is perfect for grabbing the radon at this low level and quickly reducing those levels of radon in your home. Air purifiers aren’t a subsitute for an evacuation system that removes soil gases from homes in high risk areas, however, they can help substantially. The portable AllerAir Pro 5 Ultra Vocarb dust collector and fume eliminator can make a big difference by providing effective reduction of radon gas in a home with its massive 5 inch thick 28 pound industrial grade carbon filter.
